Biography
Prof/Dr Xinghui Xia has received her PhD in Peking University during the period of 1995 to 1998. Currently, she is working as a professor in School of Environment, Beijing Normal University. Her research field includes water and soil pollution, fate and behavior of pollutants in environment, and biodegradation and bioavailability of organic pollutants. She has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed research articles. She is the member of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, and the member of the Environmental and Chemical Geography Committee, the Geographical Society of China. She has been the recipient of many excellence awards including the honor of Young Scientist by Chinese Society of Environmental Science, the Scientific Progress Award (First Class Award) by the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China, and the National Scientific Progress Award (Second Class Award) by the Ministry of Science and Technology of People’s Republic of China.
